In 2006 I started this site for fun in order to provide a page to monitor Spaceweather, VHF Aurora and also a place where I can post Aurora sound files and other interesting information. Alot has changed since then. This site has grown into my second full time job. Now over 3 Million website hits (not bad for solar minimum), this site will continue to be a job to me for the next 10 Years most likely. Everything I do on this site is for you the viewer. I receive quite a bit of compliments and support for my page and I appreciate everything. This site is still a great hobby of mine, however increasingly it feels more and more like my 2nd job and duty. I am the only person currently who updates the site so as you can imagine on my spare time off from the Job I get paid for, I donate much of my free time to keeping this page going. I have covered all website costs myself, and the costs are probably going to increase quite a bit as the next cycle takes off.

I have added a donation box through PayPal for anybody wishing to donate to this site and myself. I would kind of like to think of it as working for you the page followers. Any donation big or small would be appreciated. Any money donated would help cover some of the costs of maintaining the domain and diskspace. I look forward to continue working on this project and serving the Amateur Radio crowd, Spaceweather followers and Climate Change researchers.
